The Ballet Alliance

In fall of 2023, Bay Area Youth Ballet submitted its preliminary application materials to The Ballet Alliance for consideration to attend their 2024 festival in Spokane, Wa as part of an audition application for acceptance. Congratulations to BAYB, that after reviewing our application, we are invited to continue in our application process AND we are invited to perform during their opening Gala on May 6th, 2024. BAYB will be performing Andrea Salazar’s “Are You Awake” in Spokane’s First Interstate Center for the Arts - a 2,600 seat theater! The age requirement to attend The Ballet Alliance is age 13 by August 13th, 2024. BAYB’s director is taking dancers by invite only this year. Wish us luck with our audition results and success in Spokane.

BAYB COMPANY FEES

Dancers, once accepted, are placed as Apprentice, Corps de Ballet, 1st Soloist and Soloist Company Dancers. Fees below are for the entire 23-24 Season.

Apprentice Company | $825

Corps de Ballet, 1st Soloists, Soloists | $1050

10% sibling discount available

COMPANY FEE DUE DATES

Fees are divided into three payment installments.

9.16.23 | 1/3 of membership fee due

1.20.24 | 1/3 of membership fee due

4.13.24 | 1/3 of membership fee due

The Nutcracker – December 16th & 17th 2023 – Canada College
Bay Area Youth Ballet Spring Gala – April 21st - 2024 – College of San Mateo
Swan Lake – Dates & Venue pending – Please hold June 1-2 & 8-9 2024 available

*Company fees do not include Swan Lake costume rental(s), but does include the Swan Lake (recital) registration fee.

Additional performance opportunities may arise during the season and most would be included in membership fees. For any opportunities that may arise that would require additional fees, that opportunity will be made optional for the company dancer. BAYB fees does not include any registration/participation fees/private coaching needed for optional opportunities that are by invite only (i.e. competitions, Ballet Alliance etc.)

Company fees does not include tights, shoes, undergarment leotard for performances, or tickets/fees to any added BAYB excursions/field trips to dance related events & performances.
