Level Guidelines:
Our Young Dancer Intensive (YDI) is appropriate for dancers who were placed in Level 1C, Level 2 or Level 3 for the 2025-2026 School Session.
For students visiting Bay Area Ballet Conservatory, please request a complimentary trial placement class to confirm your dancer’s readiness for this program.
About & Schedule:
Led by Bay Area Ballet Conservatory faculty, Young Dancer Intensive students will train in daily ballet classes with a focus on technical refinement. In addition, dancers will rotate through contemporary, jazz, and repertory classes throughout the week. The program concludes with an open-studio performance demonstration for family and friends on Saturday, July 18 at 11:30 AM, featuring repertory learned during the intensive!

PROGRAM TUITION
Young Dancer Intensive - Early Bird Tuition - By April 1st | $450
Young Dancer Intensive - Tuition - After April 1st | $525
Day Rate | $105 / day. Day rate students do not participate in the end-of-program demonstration performance.
Sibling Discount - 5% off each additional sibling.
DEPOSIT & DUE DATES
Upon Enrollment:
A $150 non-refundable deposit is due at registration to secure the dancer’s place in the program. This deposit is applied toward the total tuition balance. The early-bird tuition rate is forfeited if the deposit is not received by April 1.
Deposit for Day-Rate participants is $40/day, due upon registration. There is no early-bird discount for day-rate participants.
Due June 1:
The remaining tuition balance will be automatically processed on June 1, 2026.
Registrations on or after June 1: Full tuition is due at the time of enrollment. Registration will remain open as long as space is available in the program.
TUITION POLICY
Enrollments received before June 1 include a $150 non-refundable deposit.
Withdrawal notices received via email by May 31 that your dancer is no longer able to attend, the remaining tuition balance will not be charged. However, the deposit will not be refunded.
On June 1 and thereafter, all tuition and fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason or circumstance, including withdrawal before the start of the program or illness occurring during the program.
