LEVEL 4A REQUIREMENTS

Level 4A requires a minimum enrollment in 3 Ballet Technique classes per week, with attendance monitored. You can absolutely take more ballet classes than 3x per week. The more hours of training per week = the more a dancer advances in their skills. In order for students to prepare for future pointe training or to maintain placement in Beginner Pointe I, students must meet minimum requirements. Students are required to train for a minimum of 3 weeks at Bay Area Ballet Conservatory during the summer.

LEVEL 4A PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES

  • Audition for Roles in The Nutcracker (December) and perform in Coppelia (June).

  • Audition for Bay Area Youth Ballet (Saturday, September 13) which includes: The Nutcracker/December, Spring Show/March, extra roles in Coppelia/June, The Ballet Alliance festival by invite only.

  • Coppelia Performances - June 13 & 14, 2026

**Contemporary Technique is strongly recommended but not required. By invite only, some Level 5 dancers may be recommended for Advanced Contemporary, in which case, they will be recommended to take the 4:45pm Level 6 Ballet class, then the 6:15pm Advanced Contemporary class.

LEVEL 5 REQUIREMENTS

Level 5 requires a minimum enrollment in 4 Ballet Technique classes per week, with attendance monitored. Beginning Pointe II students are required to take both Monday and Friday Beginner Pointe II classes (2x per week pointe). Intermediate Pointe students are required to take 3x/week pointe classes. Pointe classes must be taken in conjunction with the preceding ballet class

Level 6 requires a minimum enrollment of 5 days per week, with attendance monitored. With Level 6 requiring 5 days a week, our 6th day of offering can be a “flex” day for the dancers, to be used to make up for absences or one-off scheduling conflicts. Attendance is monitored.

Students are required to train for a minimum of 3 weeks at Bay Area Ballet Conservatory during the summer.

LEVEL 6 TUITION

Level 6 tuition is an all-inclusive flat rate (all offerings of ballet, pointe and contemporary classes) for $675 per month, a discounted tuition amount for our students who are training the most.
