Boys’ Ballet Ages 8-12

Session 2 | January 9th through June 5th - Fridays 6pm-7pm

(No class on April 10th - Spring Break)


Our Boys’ Ballet Program is designed to inspire strength, confidence, and artistry in young male dancers. Classes focus on building athleticism, coordination, and musicality through the foundations of classical ballet. Students will develop strong posture, agility, core stability, and dynamic jumps. Our program is for boys ages 8-12, either beginning or with ballet experience. Age 7 may be accepted if readiness is demonstrated in a trial/placement class.

SCHEDULE | Fridays at 6pm-7pm beginning January 9th-June 5th.

There will be no class on April 10th due to Spring Break closure.

TUITION | $53.50 monthly discounted tuition installments (Jan-May), or full scholarship for boys who are additionally enrolled in our regular classes and meeting assigned level requirements. TRY YOUR FIRST CLASS FREE!

  • We are pleased to offer this class at a scholarship for all participants for $53.50 monthly discounted tuition installments (Jan-May)

  • For Boys currently additionally enrolled in our regular classes, they will receive this additional class at full scholarship.

  • For Boys enrolled in Boys’ Ballet who ALSO participate in Coppelia & The Magic Toy Shoppe, they will receive a 50% scholarship towards their participation fees. Extended class time to accommodate learning of material may be necessary, directly after Boys’ class on Fridays at 7pm.

  • Note: Pre-Professional students cannot replace one of their regular level technique class requirements with the Friday Boys’ program class.

Instructor - Mr. Ethan Epstein

Ethan Epstein is from Boston, MA where he began his ballet training at Boston Ballet School. Ethan went on to train at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under the direction of Darla Hoover and Marcia Dale Weary, where he danced principal and soloist roles in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, Emeralds, and Alan Hineline’s Coppelia. Professionally, Ethan has danced at Alabama Ballet and Oklahoma City Ballet. He danced roles including Candy Cane in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, The Champion Roper in Agnes de Mille's Rodeo, and Bluebird in Sleeping Beauty. Ethan taught at the Alabama Ballet School and Birmingham Academy of Dance while dancing professionally. Ethan has served as the Children’s Rehearsal Director for Balanchine’s Nutcracker for three years and has guest taught company class at Alabama Ballet. Ethan frequently returns to the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet as a Summer Intensive Faculty Member.
