Teen Division

Teen Ballet I, II & III

25/26 School Session - August 18, 2025 - June 14 2026

Our Teen Division is the perfect fit for the more recreational ballet dancer. Teen Division students take classes with our Pre-Professional Division students, but have less restrictive training requirements. Regardless of whether a student is part of our Teen Division or our Pre-Professional Division, all of our students receive the same high caliber of training from our Faculty. Our Teen Division students should understand that they will not progress as quickly as their Pre-Professional Division peers, as they are putting in a reduced amount of training time, and they will have more limited performance opportunities.

Placement in Teen Division I, II or III is by Faculty recommendation only, based on skill and not age.

Teen Ballet I

1x/week class for students whose Level Placement recommendation is equivalent to Pre-Professional Division Level 3.

SCHEDULE - Teen Ballet I students may choose to enroll in one of the following:

  • Tuesday | 5:45pm-7:15pm

  • Wednesday | 6pm-7:30pm

  • Thursday | 6pm-7:30pm

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES - Teen Ballet I offers no performance opportunities.

TUITION - $160.50 per monthly installment.

Teen Ballet II

2x/week program for students whose Level Placement recommendation is equivalent to Pre-Professional Division Level 4A or Level 4B.

SCHEDULE - Teen Ballet II students may choose to enroll in any two of the following:

  • Monday | 4:30pm-6pm Ballet Technique

  • Tuesday | 4:45pm-6:15pm Ballet Technique

  • Wednesday | 4:30pm-6pm or 6pm-7:30pm Ballet Technique (Faculty will recommend which class)

  • Thursday | 5:45pm-7:15pm Ballet Technique

  • Friday | 4:30pm-6pm Ballet Technique

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES - Teen Ballet II students may perform in a “class dance” for our year-end concert. Teen Ballet II students are not eligible to audition for “The Nutcracker” or Bay Area Youth Ballet (performing youth company).

POINTE - Pointe training is not offered to Teen Ballet II students.

TUITION - $304.95 per monthly installment. Tuition does not include any performance opportunity fees.

Teen Ballet III

3x/week program for students whose Level Placement recommendation is equivalent to Pre-Professional Division Level 5 or Level 6.

SCHEDULE - Teen Ballet III students may choose to enroll in any three Ballet Technique classes:

  • Monday - 4:30pm-6pm Ballet Technique

  • Tuesday - 6:15pm-7:45pm Ballet Technique

  • Wednesday - 4:45pm-6:15pm or 6:15pm-7:45pm Ballet Technique (Faculty will recommend which class)

  • Thursday - 4:30pm-6pm Ballet Technique

  • Friday - 4:30pm-6pm Ballet Technique

  • Saturday - 10:15am-11:45am Ballet Technique

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES - Teen Ballet III students may perform in a “class dance” for our year-end concert. Teen Ballet III students may audition for “The Nutcracker”, Nutcracker,” however roles available for Teen Ballet III students are not guaranteed and very limited. Teen Ballet III students are not eligible to audition for Bay Area Youth Ballet (performing youth company).

POINTE - Pointe training may be available to Teen Ballet III students depending on their training history. Additional class requirements apply depending on the students level - Beginner Pointe I, Beginner Pointe II, Intermediate Pointe. Advanced Pointe training is not available for Teen Ballet III.

TUITION - $433.85 per monthly installment. Any pointe classes would incur extra tuition. Tuition does not include any performance opportunity fees.
