AUDITION REQUEST FORM FOR NEW & VISITING STUDENTS

Students not currently enrolled at Bay Area Ballet Conservatory are required to audition for our Summer Dance Intensive (SDI) to both confirm the program is an appropriate fit for the dancer and to aid faculty in determining which SDI Group would be of the best benefit for the dancer. Students who have attended summer programs in the past are still required to audition to provide an updated assessment.

All auditions are scheduled within our School Session classes to allow flexibility.

*AUDITION STEPS

1) Please complete the form below.

2) Within 1-3 business days of receipt of the form, we will reach out to you with a few audition scheduling options.

3) Once you have confirmed your audition date and time, BABC will send a Square invoice to complete an Audition Fee payment.

4) Within 1-3 business days of your dancer’s audition class(s), we will confirm our SDI program acceptance status via email.

5) Once notified of acceptance, dancers may proceed to register online here: https://www.bayareabc.com/summer-dance-intensive

Out-of-area students may submit a photo of the dancer in “First Arabesque” plus a video (5 min max) showcasing classwork and pointework, if applicable, in place of an in-person audition.
