*Spaces are first-come, first-served. You may see that our Company dancers book multiple time slots…this is because they have multiple costumes and need extra time.
Sunday, May 24th we will be holding a picture day, open to all performers in Coppélia to come have their portrait taken in costume! Portraits are taken at Bay Area Ballet Conservatory by professional photographer and former professional ballerina, Rosselyn Ramirez, who specializes in capturing dancers!
ONE, TWO, THREE!
It takes three steps/actions to book and confirm your dancer’s appointment.
STEP 1: Schedule an appointment time (deadline to schedule is Wednesday, May 20th) here: volunteersignup.org/3ARC7
Each dancer requires their own appointment for individual portraits. Please write the dancer’s name - not the parent.
Please schedule one appointment per costume.
Have two costumes? Book two appointments.
We recommend leaving a small gap between appointments to allow time for costume changes.
If you have multiple dancers/siblings and would like a group photo in addition to individual portraits, please book an additional appointment and list it as:
Family Name + “Sibling” (example: “Salvadalena Sibling”)
STEP 2: Submit an order form below! Only dancers in Levels 5 & 6 may request two poses/images per costume. Only graduating seniors may request 3 poses/images per costume.
STEP 3 - Payment Once we receive both your photo appointment and order form, you will be emailed a square invoice to pay online. These invoices are done manually and may take a few business days to be sent. Thank you for your patience. Payments not received by Thursday, May 21st, will have their appointments released.
Arrival Guidelines:
Dancers must arrive with performance hair and makeup fully completed, wearing their undergarment leotard, tights, and shoes.
We are not a beauty salon, and our staff cannot accommodate doing your child’s hair and make up for you. This is great practice for the theater!
Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time to change into costume.
Dancers will then be helped into costume by BABC Staff and Volunteers. If you are late to your appointment, we may not be able to squeeze you back in. So, please be on time. If we are running behind schedule, it is due to making sure we get the best images for the dancers. Thank you for your patience.
Photo Order changes/requests cannot be made after Wednesday, May 20th.
Portraits are restricted one pose per costume only, with the following exceptions: Bay Area Youth Ballet company and Level 5 & 6 dancers may order two poses per costume - please indicate this in notes (and for which costume) if desired. Graduating Seniors may request 3 poses per costume.
