Pre-Professional Division

Dear prospective students, the class schedules below reflect our 2025/2026 School Session schedule. Information and schedules for the next School Session will be updated later this spring, with registration opening May 1st. We are no longer registering for the current 25/26 School Session, however we welcome students to schedule a complimentary trial/placement class for Summer and 26/27 School Session consideration. ~BABC

Levels 2 & 3

26/27 School Session - August 17, 2026 - June 13, 2027

Bay Area Ballet Conservatory offers exceptional classical ballet training and is a top choice for parents within San Mateo and San Francisco counties. Our Pre-Professional Division begins at Level 2, where young children begin a dedicated study of the technique and artistry of classical ballet.

BABC’s faculty stands out with its team of highly educated professional teachers, most of whom are former professional ballet dancers, and its family-friendly atmosphere. Of course, we love working with children and sharing our knowledge with our students most of all!

LEVEL 2

Level 2 Student as a “Forest Sprite” in Sleeping Beauty

Enrollment in 2x/week ballet technique classes is strictly required, with attendance monitored. Students may enroll in any two options below. Level placement is based on skill, not age. All pre-professional division levels are multi-year programs. Students should expect to spend multiple years training in each level before advancing to the next level.

SCHEDULE

  • Tuesday | 4:45pm-6pm Ballet Technique

  • Thursday | 6pm-7:15pm Ballet Technique

  • Saturday | 9am-10:15am Ballet Technique

LEVEL 2 PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES

  • Level 2 students will perform in our year-end concert, held at Skyline College on June 12 & 13, 2027, or June 5 & 6, 2027. Dates will be solidified by August 2026. Rehearsal practice is covered during the last 10 minutes of class, March-June, 2027

  • Level 2 students may audition for roles in “The Nutcracker”.

    • Sept. 13 - Nutcracker Auditions & Mandatory Parent Meeting / Orientation - Times To Be Announced

    • Sept. 26 - Nutcracker Rehearsals Begin

    • Dec. 11-13 - Nutcracker Theatre Rehearsals & Performances at Skyline College

TUITION

$254 per monthly installment. Tuition does not include any performance opportunity fees.

A Level 3 Student in The Nutcracker
